KSAT x iPad

The KSAT, also known as Korea's College Scholastic Ability Test, was held on November 17th, and thousands of students took part in what is considered the most important exam of their lives. These students had been preparing for this exam for a year, with the help of iPad and Apple Pencil.

On the day of the exam, Apple Korea released a touching tribute to these hardworking students, called "The Long Journey with iPad." The video celebrates the ups and downs of the students' experience, using footage that they themselves had posted online to share their studying moments with the world.

The end line of the video, "Dear youth, the path is yours," is a verse from a poem that was used in a nationwide mock-test back in June. We were honored to have the opportunity to shine a light on the dedication and hard work that Korean students put into the KSATs.

2022년 11월 17일, 대한민국의 대학수학능력시험(수능)이 치러졌습니다. 수많은 수험생들이 인생에서 가장 중요한 시험 중 하나로 여겨지는 이 날을 위해 1년 넘게 iPad와 Apple Pencil로 공부해왔습니다.

시험 당일, Apple Korea는 이 노력의 여정을 기리는 영상 'iPad와 함께한 긴 여정(The Long Journey with iPad)'을 공개했습니다. 이 영상은 수험생들이 SNS에 직접 올린 공부 기록들을 모아, 그들의 치열했던 1년을 진심을 담아 되짚습니다.

영상의 마지막 문장인 “젊은이여 그 길은 너의 것이다”는 6월 전국 모의고사에서 사용된 한 시의 구절에서 따온 것입니다. 우리는 이 프로젝트를 통해 한국의 수험생들이 보여준 끈기와 노력에 조명을 비출 수 있어 영광이었습니다.

To students who have worked so hard for so long, we hoped to deliver a warm reminder that it’s now their turn to chase their own dreams—with Mac as their creative tool.
